Sanders Fish Market: one-stop seafood shopping!

Portsmouth's neighborhood fish market is conveniently located in the South End of the city, next to South Street & Vine on Marcy Street and just minutes away from the Downtown district.

We proudly carry a full line of exceptional quality fish and seafood items. We also offer fresh produce, basic groceries, domestic & imported beer, Terra Cotta Pasta products, Carpe Diem Coffee, and Valley View Orchard Pies.

Our homemade items include: chowders & stews, fish cakes & burgers, seafood pies, and various dips & pâtés. We also offer make sandwiches to order, including our famous lobster roll featuring a quarter pound of fresh-picked lobster meat! Be sure to try our handmade crab cakes and stuffed clams, too! And believe us when we say you'll never go back to supermarket shrimp again once you've tried our premium cooked cocktail shrimp!

Packing for Travel

We will be happy to pack your cooler for road trips!
If you don't have a cooler, we sell sturdy insulated "air boxes" for your travel needs.
We also sell gel ice packs (you should check with your airline for any regulation issues.)
Please let us know in advance what your needs might be!
(We don't deliver to transportation centers.)

Pickup Orders

Call us ahead for orders to be ready for pickup!
We request a 24-hour advance notice and partial deposit on large quantities.
(For extremely large orders, please call us well in advance!)

Cooked Lobsters

We will be happy to steam your lobsters for an additional $2 flat rate fee.
We will cook up to 12ct 1&1/4 lb. lobsters or 9ct 2 lb. lobsters at a time.
Lobsters can be fully cooked or blanched (partially cooked.)
Last call for cooking lobsters is 5pm (4pm on Sunday.)
